Bethany began her professional career as a corporate transactional lawyer in New York City at a top international law firm. In the mid-1990s, Bethany relocated to Marin County and continued to practice transactional law at premier law firms in San Francisco. Her professional work experience coupled with her integrity, discretion, professionalism, and strong work ethic are all attributes that serve her well when working for and negotiating on behalf of her clients.
Bethany received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law where she was also a staff editor on the Law Review.
She and her husband have lived in the Sycamore Park neighborhood of Mill Valley for more than 25 years and all four of their children attended the Mill Valley public schools. From her long time as an active member of the community, Bethany has deep knowledge about the many amenities, activities, and resources available, including the schools, youth sports opportunities, extracurricular and family activities that make Marin County so desirable.
Bethany loves the active Marin lifestyle and can often be found running on Mt. Tam or playing tennis in Marin for Scott Valley Swim and Tennis Club.
